About North Notts BID

North Notts BID is the UK’s first ever area-wide business improvement district (BID) covering the whole district of Bassetlaw.

As the largest singular BID in the UK, North Notts BID supports around 1,200 businesses and just under 1,400 hereditaments.

North Notts BID is highly successful in bringing together the skills and experience of local businesses, local authorities and other key partners and stakeholders adding great value and benefits through a range of initiatives, all free to BID members including:

• North Notts Business Crime Reduction Partnership – digital hand-held radio system, the DISC crime reporting app, WalkSafe personal safety app, Night Angels, CCTV with ANPR in our industrial areas
• North Notts Best Bar None – accreditation and awards scheme, to ensure that our venues serving alcohol do so safely
• Flagship Events – North Notts FoodFest, Cirque du North Notts, Party in the Square, Christmas light events
• Maintenance Support – jet washing, gutter cleaning, painting, gardening support at BID members premises
• Cost Reduction Service – offering specialist support in reducing costs on utilities, printing, waste etc

North Notts BID is also proud to have partnered with the UK Atomic Energy Authority and Bassetlaw District Council in delivering the World’s first Fusion Energy Café in Worksop. The café highlights the potential of fusion energy to local communities, particularly through the STEP Programme at West Burton, while unlocking the social benefits fusion can bring. It also offers training in catering and hospitality to those with learning difficulties.
