TDX Group provides data, technology and consultancy solutions to improve the performance of businesses in the debt industry.
They employ nearly 300 people in the city and work with specialist debt businesses and with creditors across financial services, utility, local government, telco and media sectors, providing solutions that support them in managing collections, recoveries, debt sale and insolvency.
TDX Group was founded in 2004, with venture capital investment from Blenheim Chalcot. In January 2014, TDX Group was acquired by Equifax Inc. Headquartered in Atlanta, Equifax operates, or has investments, in 24 countries and is a member of Standard & Poor’s (S&P) 500® Index.
TDX Group is at the forefront of the debt management industry due to continuous innovation in data enrichment and analytics. Their practitioner expertise in managing debt on behalf of a broad range of clients across many sectors, sets them apart from competitors and gives them a unique view of the debt market and consumer behaviour when they’re in debt.
Nottingham City Council has supported the creation of jobs through awarding TDX Group £100,000 through the Nottingham Technology Grant Fund (N’Tech) grant. This will enable TDX Group to continue to grow the business at their current site in the Lace Market, Nottingham. They plan on growing the business globally and this grant will help to ensure Nottingham remains at the heart of their ambitious plans.
A Spokesperson from TDX Group said, “We value Nottingham because it is rapidly becoming an area with a specialism in analytics, data and technology – all of which are fundamental to our business model. It means we have a thriving community around us of like-minded professionals, and a growing, relevant talent pool to recruit from.
Having well-respected universities on our doorstep also give us access to talented graduates.
From a logistics standpoint, being in Nottingham means it is easy to reach our clients who are based across the country.
Our colleagues love being based in Nottingham city centre – being able to get to work on public transport, and to enjoy shops, bars and restaurants after work all contributes to the atmosphere and culture of our thriving business.”
