Littlefish is an award-winning and rapidly-growing Nottingham HQ’d Managed IT Services Provider. Through a focussed growth plan, they have become an established and credible alternative to the ‘usual suspect’ large Multi £Billion Managed Service Providers and IT Outsourcers in the mid-market and enterprise.
Their Managed IT Services portfolio includes Service Desk, End User Compute, Infrastructure Management, Intelligent IT Automation, Cloud Platforms, and IT Consultancy. They deliver their services to over 25,000 users across the world for a wide variety of organisations, spanning both the private and public sectors, and including, Farrow & Ball, H Samuel/Ernest Jones, Studiocanal, the National Audit Office, and The Houses of Parliament.
Littlefish was founded in 2003 but acquired in 2010 by the current management team and has enjoyed rapid growth ever since. Revenues will shortly top £10m and headcount has grown from c.20 (at acquisition) to 120+ by early 2017.
Nottingham has always been a significant location for Littlefish. Not only because their first offices were founded here in 2003 but also because Littlefish HQ and their primary service centre is located at the very heart of the city.
They are proud of their Nottingham heritage and relationships they have developed with customers, suppliers and other stakeholders within East Midlands area.
As one of the UK’s six science cities, with top-line technical universities and a thriving ICT skills hub, the city has empowered the company’s growth. Littlefish has also made good use of local apprentices over the last 4-5 years, with some incredible success stories who have subsequently joined the organisation and climbed the ranks.
Recent developments in transport links have also encouraged them to relocate to the City Centre, which in turn has enabled them to secure more prestigious office space, and acts as an additional attraction when hiring new personnel (as well as all of the local amenities that are on their doorstep).
When asked why they would recommend Nottingham to a start-up, Littlefish said that Nottingham has the feel of a vibrant and rapidly developing city, with high quality local talent.
