The inaugural ProCon Nottinghamshire networking event took place this Thursday within the iconic surroundings of Trent Bridge.
The membership network, made up of individuals and organisations who are passionate about their work in Nottinghamshire enables the exchange of ideas, share knowledge and expertise and do business with each other.
Over 200 guests heard from Nottingham CCC's new Chief Executive Lisa Pursehouse and the Managing Director of Maber Architects Mark Hobson.

This year's Tech Nation survey has been revealed, the report, first published in 2015, provides detailed insights into the UK tech sector, city by city.
In Nottingham the report highlights £1.3bn turnover by the city's tech sector, which now provides over 11,000 jobs - in total over 22,000 jobs are specifically digital tech roles.
It also provides insights into the sector from some of the city's key players including Esendex, Open Wrks and Tech Nottingham.
The Department for International Trade (DIT) has revealed an initiative designed to attract more than £30bn worth of overseas investment to the UK, with almost £1bn from Nottingham.
The East Midlands has ten schemes on a list of 68 which the DIT will be promoting from across the UK to international investors. Three of these sit in Nottingham; the Island Site, Waterside and Boots Enterprise Zone - worth nearly a combined £1bn.
International trade secretary Dr Liam Fox said: "This is a bold and ambitious programme, building on the UK's position as the leading destination for foreign investment in Europe through the government's Industrial Strategy, helping to build a Britain fit for the future.
"The High Potential Opportunities scheme will deliver growth where it is most needed, ensuring that the benefits of global investment are felt in every part of the country. And with more than £30bn worth of new opportunities, my international economic department's overseas network is working hard to attract top investors to the UK."
Nottingham-based digital agency Impression has been recognised on the international stage with a win in the European Search Awards.
The agency, which was founded in 2012 by Tom Craig and Aaron Dicks, was given the title Best Large SEO Agency in Europe at an awards ceremony held in Prague, fending off stiff competition from some of the continent’s biggest and best known brands.
