Nottingham City Council is submitting bids totalling £57m to the Government’s Levelling Up Fund to unlock Nottingham’s potential by bringing about massive changes to the city’s Broad Marsh area, Bulwell town centre and the Island Quarter.

Nottingham’s Broad Marsh and The Island Quarter have been showcased at a national forum this week as two of the most significant city centre development sites in the UK.

Councillor Ben Bradley, Leader of Nottinghamshire County Council and MP for Mansfield joins Invest in Nottingham’s panel at The UK’s Real Estate Investment and Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF).

Nottingham will showcase “the UK’s biggest city centre development opportunity” through a dedicated panel discussion, focused on the intense period of economic regeneration that is set to take place, with The Island Quarter and the transformational Broad Marsh development, leading the way. In addition, the city has secured a slot within the exclusive Investor Centre, a dedicated area for city leaders to highlight opportunities to domestic and international investors.
