Invest in Nottingham will lead a public-private partnership to support Nottingham & Nottinghamshire as an investment destination at UKREiiF 2025, the real estate conference taking place in Leeds between 20-22 May.
More than 15 private sector businesses will be working alongside our local authority partners to showcase the region’s investment opportunities and fly the flag for Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
Invest in Nottingham, part of Marketing Nottingham & Nottinghamshire, is the inward investment agency for the region. Its Chief Executive, Megan Powell Vreewsijk, said: “We’re proud to lead a united delegation to UKREiiF, showing Nottinghamshire’s private and public sector partners are committed to bring in investment and growth to the region.
It is an exciting time for Nottinghamshire and the wider East Midlands, with several high profile investment opportunities to showcase, and the recent creation of the East Midlands Combined County Authority (EMCCA), bringing further spotlight and investment.”
SCAPE and Arc Partnership, a joint venture between SCAPE and Nottinghamshire County Council, and E.ON lead the Team Nottingham delegation as headline partners for Team Nottingham.
Mark Robinson, Group Chief Executive at SCAPE Group, said: “As a Nottingham-based business, we see first-hand how growth and investment across the region is making a real difference to local communities, with our SCAPE and Arc Partnership teams often at the helm of exciting built-environment projects. We are delighted to be able to celebrate these projects and the wealth of investment opportunities in Nottinghamshire at UKREiiF alongside Team Nottingham.”
Natalie Robinson, Head of New City Partnerships at E.ON said; “Working in Nottingham we want to bring innovation and social benefit to the very heart of the city - whether that's making our streets safer with better lighting or cutting the cost of energy bills by rolling out sustainable energy solutions at scale, not only helping to reduce fuel poverty but also creating the jobs and skills that are needed across the city.
UKREiiF plays a crucial role in supporting these initiatives by bringing together government departments, local authorities and private sector businesses to showcase how collaborative action can provide genuine change as we navigate the decarbonisation journey to net zero."
Invest in Nottingham are working alongside the East Midlands County Combined Authority, and will be joined by representatives from Nottinghamshire County Council and Nottingham City Council, to exhibit region’s investment opportunities and pave the way for new investment.
Alongside headline partners, SCAPE, Arc Partnership, and E.ON, Team Nottingham’s partners include; Arup, Bassetlaw District Council, BWB Consulting, Cavendish Consulting, CPMG Architects, Devello Group, Freeths, Galliford Try, Geldards, Lovell, Marsh:Grochowski, North Notts BID and Viridis, with more expected to join in the coming months.
